中國歐洲藝術(shù)中心誠摯地邀請您和您的朋友參加2017年5月20日周六下午四時于三影堂廈門攝影藝術(shù)中心開幕的名為《滾動中的雪球八/廈門》中荷當代視覺藝術(shù)群展。

此次展覽將呈現(xiàn)四十六位來自荷蘭和中國藝術(shù)家的新作：

Rolling Snowball / 8 - Homecoming

2017年是荷蘭王國駐廣州總領(lǐng)事館成立二十周年。歐藝作為荷蘭在中國東南最重要的文化落腳點，策劃并組織了與三影堂廈門攝影藝術(shù)中心聯(lián)合主辦的第八屆“滾動中的雪球”中荷當代藝術(shù)聯(lián)展，慶祝并加深中荷兩國之間以藝術(shù)為紐帶的文化往來。

自1999年以來，歐藝深深扎根于廈門這座亞熱帶島嶼，致力于為世界各地遠道而來的藝術(shù)家們提供一個家一般的落腳點，為他們提供生活、創(chuàng)作、研究方面的支持。18年來，歐藝有幸參與了眾多世界一流當代藝術(shù)家們終生難忘的探索與發(fā)現(xiàn)之旅，不斷見證著認知被顛覆和重組的奇妙過程。而這也正是歐藝自創(chuàng)立之初便把通過跨文化對話實現(xiàn)思想的解放、蛻變及成長作為機構(gòu)核心使命的原因。

第八屆“滾動中的雪球”以《歸》為題，探討“家”和“回歸”這兩個概念在物質(zhì)和精神層面的存在形式及美學(xué)意義，探究“別處”的別樣美學(xué)。

2017 marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Guangzhou. In celebration of this meaningful occasion, CEAC, as the most important anchor point for the promotion of Dutch culture in Southeast China, has curated and organized the 8th edition of "Rolling Snowball", co-hosted by Three Shadows Xiamen Photography Art Centre, to deepen the cultural exchange between China and the Netherlands through contemporary art.

Since 1999, the Chinese European Art Center, deeply rooted in its home base on the subtropical island of Xiamen, has served as a home away from home to more than 300 artists and creative professionals from all around the world. For 18 years, CEAC has been fortunate to be a part of the life-changing, perception-altering journeys of some of the world’s most brilliant creative minds. Witnessing the familiar becomes unfamiliar and vice versa for those who engage in CEAC’s work, it was decided from the very beginning that liberation, transformation and growth through inter-cultural dialogues are at the core of CEAC’s organizational mission.

Titled "Homecomig", the 8th edition of "Rolling Snowball" discusses the form of existence and aesthetic significance of the concepts of home and returning home, exploring the aesthetics of "elsewhere".
